Please read before choosing, installing or using an OZANA system.
OZANA systems are designed to help improve certain water characteristics according to their respective technologies. Actual performance varies depending on incoming water quality, substance concentrations, pressure, temperature, flow rate, installation, maintenance and the condition of cartridges or membranes.
General filtration limitations
No residential system guarantees the removal of every contaminant. Information on this site is not a substitute for water testing, recommendations from local authorities or advice from a qualified professional.
- A TDS value alone cannot establish the microbiological or chemical safety of water.
- A reduction observed under specific conditions does not guarantee identical results in every home.
- Water from an unknown source, or water of unknown quality, should be tested before a treatment is selected.
Water source and potability
Unless a product specifically states otherwise, systems intended for drinking water must receive potable municipal water or water from a source whose quality has been verified.
Do not rely on a residential system as the sole method of making microbiologically unsafe water, or water of unknown quality, safe to drink. During a boil-water advisory, suspected contamination, flooding or an unusual change in taste, odour or appearance, follow the directions of the relevant authorities first.
Product-specific precautions
OZANA Flow
FLOW is designed for an initially potable or verified cold-water supply. Do not use it with microbiologically unsafe or unknown water without adequate treatment. Flush the system after installation and after each replacement, in accordance with the instructions.
OZANA Spring
SPRING is designed to treat initially potable water. A low TDS value does not mean the water is free of contaminants. Hot water can reach a high temperature: handle it carefully and supervise children.
OZANA Storm
STORM is intended exclusively for shower water and does not produce drinking water. It does not disinfect a contaminated source. Any reference to skin or hair describes only a potential benefit related to certain water characteristics and is not a medical claim.
Safe installation
Incorrect installation, an incompatible part, unsuitable pressure or a system modification can reduce performance and create a risk of leakage or contamination.
- Shut off the water supply before any work when the instructions require it.
- Observe the product’s pressure, temperature and flow-rate limits.
- Check connections and confirm there are no leaks after installation and after maintenance.
- Use a qualified professional when the configuration or local regulations require one.
Maintenance and replacement
Filters, cartridges and membranes are consumable components. Their actual service life varies with use and water quality. Replace them according to the recommendations for the model, or sooner if you notice an unusual reduction in flow, a change in taste or odour, a leak or any other abnormal operation.
Do not use a damaged, expired, improperly stored or incompatible cartridge. After a long period of inactivity, follow the flushing and recommissioning procedure specified for the product.
Certifications and compliance
A certification, standard or logo applicable to a membrane, cartridge or component does not automatically mean that the complete OZANA system holds the same certification. The exact scope is the one stated in the applicable documentation or certification registry.

If a problem occurs
Stop using the product if you notice a leak, damage, a burning smell, overheating, an unusual noise or any other sign of abnormal operation. Shut off the water or electrical supply when it is safe to do so, then contact OZANA.
